What Is Trillian

Trillian is a multi headed instant messaging (IM) client that connects multiple public IM services such as facebook, skype, twitter, jabber, and more. You can use Trillian to manage your various IM accounts if you have friends on multiple social networks. When you log in to Trillian, users on other networks will see you as being online in each of these systems. Trillian is one of the best instant messenger you can think of.

Trillian uses a colour code system to indicate which of the services you are receiving messages from.  Some of the features of Trillian include plug-ins, skins and customizable interface, Emotiblips and more. There are free and commercial versions of Trillian available.
